چکیده

Heat stress has a strong and detrimental effect on plant growth yield. Goji berry or wolfberry (Lycium barbarum L.) is dual-purpose medicinal food but an increase in high temperatures caused serious decline yield quality. In this study, we first explored the heat responses of berry, found that adaptation mechanisms fluctuated over 48 h. Moreover, L.barbarum 1402 was more resistant while Ningqi No. 7 (N7) sensitive to temperatures, which amino acids alkaloids played key roles; expression accumulation timing also crucial. That is, responded rapidly starting at 1 h under temperature, activated related genes, accumulated metabolites earlier acid metabolic pathway compared N7, 3 temperature. Thus, resisted much better N7. Furthermore, joint transcriptome metabolome analysis results showed L-phenylalanine, L-tyrosine, N-benzylformamide, N-benzylmethylene isomethylamine, lysoPC 19:1, N-acetyl-D-glucosamine-1-phosthate, as well their were higher content, expression, N7 treatment. This study initially elucidates tolerance than for when temperatures.

Polyphenolic content, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of Lycium barbarum L. and Lycium chinense Mill. leaves.

This study was performed to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant and antimicrobial activities and the polyphenolic content of Lycium barbarum L. and L. chinense Mill. leaves. The different leave extracts contain important amounts of flavonoids (43.73 ± 1.43 and 61.65 ± 0.95 mg/g, respectively) and showed relevant antioxidant activity, as witnessed by the quoted methods. Qualitative and quantitativ...

Influence of Rhizoglomus irregulare on nutraceutical quality and regeneration of Lycium barbarum leaves under salt stress.

Whether arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi augment the nutraceutical quality of crops under salt stress is critical as a potential agronomic practice in salinized farmland. To evaluate the effect of Rhizoglomus irregulare on the nutraceutical quality of Lycium barbarum leaves under salt stress, we analyzed growth parameters and the rutin, polysaccharide, acidic polysaccharide, and amino acids content...

Lycium barbarum Polysaccharides Reduce Exercise-Induced Oxidative Stress

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBP) on exercise-induced oxidative stress in rats. Rats were divided into four groups, i.e., one control group and three LBP treated groups. The animals received an oral administration of physiological saline or LBP (100, 200 and 400 mg/kg body weight) for 28 days. On the day of the exercise test...

Improvement effect of Lycium barbarum polysaccharide on sub-health mice

Objective(s):Sub-health has been described as a chronic condition of unexplained deteriorated physiological function, which falls between health and illness. In the present study, we evaluated the effects of Lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP), a polysaccharide fraction purified from Lycium barbarum (L. barbarum) on the sub-health mice. Materials and Methods:The sub-health model mice were buil...
